Role Overview
Your duties take place during the show (or dress rehearsal).

Check-In
When you arrive, please check in with one of our coordinators at the ticket table located in front of the theatre doors. You will receive your badge and any final instructions there.

  • Noelle will be wearing a badge labelled “Backstage Coordinator”

  • Maryann will be wearing a badge labelled “Lobby Coordinator”

Responsibilities

  • Remain in the hallway near the bathrooms to assist students as needed

  • Help younger children in the bathroom when necessary; check if they can manage independently (always ask what the child wants)

  • Assist with costumes (e.g., hold skirts or tutus while students use the bathroom)

  • If entering a bathroom with a child, keep the stall door slightly open at all times (never be behind closed doors with a child)

  • For older students, offer to hold costume pieces and monitor for any issues or delays

  • Discourage loitering and ensure students return promptly to their class

  • Stay backstage for the duration of the rehearsal or show

Dress Code
Wear comfortable, modest clothing you can move in, along with supportive shoes, as you will be on your feet for most of the time

You cannot watch the performance while volunteering in this role. If you wish to watch, you will need to purchase a ticket for a different show time.

Final Note
