Thank you for volunteering for the Arise Year-End Recital 2026!

Please read the information below carefully for your dress code, responsibilities, and other important details. After reviewing, send us an email to confirm you’ve received this information and to ask any questions.

Role Overview
Your duties take place during the show (or dress rehearsal).

Check-In
When you arrive, please check in with one of our coordinators at the ticket table located in front of the theatre doors. You will receive your badge and any final instructions there.

  • Noelle will be wearing a badge labelled “Backstage Coordinator”

  • Maryann will be wearing a badge labelled “Lobby Coordinator”

Responsibilities

  • Supervise students who will be watching part of the show from the audience

  • Walk students to reserved front-row seating at the start of the show

  • Ensure students remain in their assigned order and do not switch seats or lines

  • Monitor students closely for noise, movement, or disruptive behaviour

  • Watch for any needs such as bathroom breaks or assistance. Please note, only female volunteers may walk with the dancers backstage so they can use the bathroom

  • At intermission, Arise staff will escort the students backstage and bring the next group to their seats

  • Maintain awareness and prioritize student supervision at all times

Audience Note
You may watch the show while seated with the students; however, your primary responsibility is supervising the children in your care.

Dress Code
Semi-formal attire is required. Think “church clothes” or a classy party outfit: neat and polished.

Final Note
Please remain attentive, calm, and supportive while supervising students in the audience.

Let us know if you have any questions. We appreciate your help and look forward to having you on the team!
