Students in Audience Supervisor Instructions:

Thank you for volunteering for the Arise Year-End Recital 2025!

CAREFULLY read below to find your dress code, instructions, and other important details. Then, send us an email to confirm you got it, or with any questions you may have.

- Your job will take place during the show (or dress rehearsal).

- When you arrive, check in with Maryann or Noelle at the ticket table in front of the theatre doors to get your badge and instructions. Noelle will be wearing a badge labelled “Backstage Coordinator”; Maryann will be wearing a badge labelled “Lobby Coordinator”.

- Your job is to sit in the audience and supervise the students who will be watching part of the show (or dress rehearsal).

- You will walk the students to the reserved seats in the front row at the beginning of the show and then walk them backstage at intermission. You will then pick up the next set of students and bring them out to the audience. NOTE: the students will be lined up in a particular order that they must stay in. Please don’t let them switch seats or change their line-up.

- While sitting with the students in the audience, you may watch the show (or dress rehearsal), but make sure your priority is watching the children you are sitting with. Stay alert to any fidgeting or noise they may be making and be aware in case they are poking their neighbours, being disruptive, or need to go to the bathroom.

- The dress code is “semi-formal.” It doesn’t need to be too formal but think of “church clothes” or a classy party.

- Let us know if you have any questions!
