Volunteer Information *Volunteer by May 1st*

To make the recital a success for your children, every studio family is required to provide one volunteer to help out at one show/dress rehearsal OR volunteer in the months April and May. While most volunteer jobs are for the recital weekend, we also have a few opportunities to help in advance. You are welcome to volunteer more than once. By pitching in to help, you ensure that all students are looked after and that the show runs smoothly for your own child. This allows the other parents to enjoy the show when you volunteer and allows you to enjoy the show when someone else volunteers.

See below for volunteer options:

1. Sign up right away to get your preferred day and job.

2. Opt-out with a $50 fee to help pay for someone else to take your spot.

3. If you haven’t volunteered or opted out by May 1st, you will be assigned a volunteer position according to our needs.

Recital Jobs include taking care of children backstage between their dances, taking tickets, helping at the merchandise table, and more. Other Jobs include helping alter costumes and selling program ads. You will be contacted after May 1st with your job’s details and exact times.

NEW: For the first time, we are offering the option to volunteer before or after a show and buy a ticket to that same show. Volunteer jobs where you can buy a ticket to watch the show you're helping with are limited. Other volunteer jobs require you to volunteer during the show so you would be unable to buy a ticket to that show. Sign up today to get your preferred spot!
